Being the first drama activity I had participated in in close to 15 years, I was a bit nervous to start, however the slow pace of the activity served as a relaxed introduction to dramatic performance. I enjoyed how more eager students were able to increase their participation through questioning, while withdrawn students had ample time to reflect on and absorb the conversation. This activity would help students build improvisational thinking skills through the selection of a random scenario, while keeping demands low as their role is simply that of a story teller. Members of the class provided a variety of interesting scenarios, many of which could have played out in a variety of ways. Narratives and subsequent questions were often quirky, and overall it was a fun experience despite my initial reservations.
